RIP Chester Bennington, Lead Singer of Linkin Park

Chester Bennington, the lead singer of Linkin Park, has committed suicide at the age of 41. So this just came out today and I was heart broken. If you are someone in their mid to late 20’s or early 30’s, you remember Linkin Park. They had some killer hits. Then their rapper guy left and made a fire rap called ‘Remember The Name’ under the name Fort Minor.

But seriously, this guy had such a unique voice. Such a talent. The lyrics though as I have been listening today have really left some breadcrumbs to the unfortunate suicide. I think we should have realized and got him some help. Maybe people did. Regardless, it always hits a certain heartstring with him, Robin Williams, and so many others who make such beautiful movies, music, art, television, etc. Rest in peace. I will forever jam to Linkin Park because my 16 year old self with too much angst loves the rap/rock combo with some  depressing lyrics.

Let’s pour one out for our guy. Here are some of the bangers. His voice is just awesome:

BLEED IT OUT
